FAQ

  • Who is Where the Wild Things Play for?

Generally speaking your Wild Things ages 8 and under will enjoy our space the most. We’ve had babies and mom groups enjoying tummy time and conversation in our toddler corner, and older children (7/8+) enjoying our summer enrichment program (half day camps) with other kids their age!

  • Do we wear shoes or take them off?

We ask that all guests keep their shoes on during play! Because some of our flooring is vinyl plank, and our play structure is a solid surface, we recommend closed toe shoes for your young friends!

  • Are Passport Holders guaranteed admission?

All guests - regardless of Passport status - are encouraged to sign up ahead of time! Once we’re at capacity, any guest wishing to play would just need to wait until the next available time. Feel free to call or email us to inquire about capacity for the day. 717-220-7910.

  • Can I drop my child off while I dine or shop nearby?

We know your time as parents and caregivers is precious and limited, but during our Open Play sessions, a parent is required to stay and supervise their child (we promise, it will be fun for you, too!). We do have wifi available, too!

From time to time, we do offer designated “drop off” play. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for those announcements!

  • Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Gift certificates are available online through our booking platform. We’ve recently changed our system, so at the time we are not offering physical gift cards. Gift cards can be used for play, parties, special events, and Passports but cannot be used for retail or snacks.

  • How do you manage capacity?

We encourage our guests to sign up ahead of time to reserve their play sessions. Walk-ins are always welcome when we’re not at capacity. Feel free to call us ahead of time to see if we’re nearing capacity if you haven’t made a reservation. Once we’ve reached capacity, we won’t be able to take any additional bookings until space becomes available.

  • What is your coffee and food policy?

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to our space. For your convenience, we also offer a limited coffee bar, along with various snacks for purchase. As a family that experiences food allergies, we do our very best to offer snacks for everyone. Although we’re not a certified nut-free facility, we ask that our visitors refrain from bringing with them snacks that contain nuts.

  • Can I host a party here?

The short answer is…Yes! Please visit our Party page for more information!

A few things to keep in mind: Impromptu parties are not permitted. All parties must be scheduled in advance. We respectfully ask you to refrain from bringing your cake, candles, party decor, and singing “Happy Birthday” as a group in the space if you have not reserved a party.
