Who is Where the Wild Things Play For?
Generally speaking your Wild Things ages 10 and under will enjoy our space the most. We’ve had babies as young as 7 or 8 months old exploring our toddler corner, and children as old as 7 and 8 enjoying the active play structure and STEM screen. Even if your little one is younger, we’ve had new mom groups enjoying time with each other catching up while letting their babies crawl around on the soft carpet of our toddler corner.
Play is on a first-come first-served basis. We do our best to offer something for all ages – from imaginative play houses and an active play structure for the little ones, to interactive STEAM experiences thoughtfully placed throughout the space, and comfortable seating, maximized sight lines and coffee for caregivers. the price of admission covers two hours of play during open play hours (although when we’re not at capacity or expecting to reach capacity that day, we welcome you to stay as long as you’d like).
Admission is $12.50 per child and $10.50 per adult. We also offer memberships for those who plan on attending on a more regular basis!
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! Our gift cards and adorable gift card holders are available in store during play hours or a voucher can be purchased through our online store. Stop in during open play hours, or order a voucher through our online store by clicking here.
What are you doing to ensure the safety of guests during this pandemic?
As we’ve been planning for opening this past year, we’ve modified many of our processes to create a safer environment for our staff and guests. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated guests age 3 and older. We have also chosen to limit our open play groups below 50% of our capacity for the time being. How will you manage capacity?
We encourage our guests to sign up ahead of time to reserve their play sessions. Walk-ins are always welcome when we’re not at capacity. Feel free to call us ahead of time to see if we’re nearing capacity if you haven’t made a reservation. 717-220-7910
Can I drop my child off while I shop or dine nearby?
We know your time as parents and caregivers is precious and limited, but unfortunately we are not a registered child care provider. It is the responsibility of all parents and caregivers to supervise their children while they play in our space. However you can connect to our wifi while your child plays!
Coffee Bar and Food Policy
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to our space. For your convenience, we also offer a coffee bar, along with various snacks for purchase. As a family that experiences food allergies, we do our very best to offer snacks for everyone. Although we’re not a certified nut-free facility, we ask that our visitors refrain from bringing with them snacks that contain nuts.
Can I host a birthday party here?

A few things to keep in mind:
Impromptu parties are not permitted. All parties must be scheduled in advance. We respectfully ask you to refrain from bringing your cake, candles, party decor, gift bags and gifts if you have not reserved a party.
Do large groups need reservations?
To ensure your group has the best experience possible we do kindly ask for notification of large groups. Please visit our Group page for more information!
Accessibility and Sensory Sensitivity
Our space, the play houses, discovery corner and STEM screen were all designed with ADA accessibility in mind. We have done our best to be sensory-friendly in the design of our space. If our space is not meeting the needs of your special-needs child, please contact us and we will do our very best to make accommodations.
We want you to feel free to feed your baby however, wherever you’re most comfortable. We do have a chair in the toddler corner where priority is given to nursing mamas.
Why do I need to make party changes prior to the start of my event?
For all of our parties, there are custom details that we factor in as we prepare for your big day! Whether we’re reserving capacity for each child (plus their included caregivers) off of our floor, or ordering food and snacks, in order to keep our space and parties moving smoothly, we ask that all changes to the number of children and custom add-ons be made prior to the event. Your confirmation email will specify the date depending on your party package.
What is your current mask policy?
Masks are strongly recommended for all guests, however, they are not required. Our employees will continue to wear masks for the time being.
What is your sick policy?
If your child is visibly or audibly sick, we reserve the right to ask you to reschedule play for another time. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Persistent cough and/or runny nose
- Sore Throat
- Chicken Pox
- Extreme Lethargy
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Please reschedule your play if you or your child are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, are under treatment for lice or any other topical contagion, or have had a fever above 100 in the past 24 hours.
What is your refund policy for play passes?
Pre-purchased play passes are non-refundable. Once you’ve reserved your spot, that means on busier days, someone else may not have the chance to play! However, if you are sick, we are happy to reschedule play for another time. To reschedule play, please let us know PRIOR to the start of your scheduled play session. Rescheduled play is good for 60 days from the time of original play date.
